Local Area

Whitby is a beautiful location at any time of the year.  Beaches, cliff top walks, moors and dales are all close by, offering endless exploring.  Whitby itself is a varied and fascinating old town, with many cafes, pubs, bars and of course fish and chip restaurants.

The beautiful city of York is a nice day out, as is Scarborough to the south and Redcar and Saltburn to the North.

Don't forget the North York Moors steam  railway as a perfect way to see the countryside in style!
